If you haven't noticed by now, there is something about the way light acts that attracts me. I am especially fascinated by the way light and glass work together. This was the overhead lighting at an Italian restaurant in Renton, Washington.

part of the Jimi Hendrix memorial at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washington. Part of the installation consists of song lyrics in Jimi's handwriting - and a shocking number of lipstick kisses on the stone wall above them.

Inside the EMP (Experience Music Project Museum) at the Seattle Center. This is a sculpture made almost entirely from guitars, as well as a few other musical instruments thrown in there. It appears to be exploding from the ground twenty feet upwards. The sculpture plays music by using various instruments that are a part of the sculpture and was created by the artist Trimpin. It is called "If VI was IX: Roots and Branches"

This is inside the Experience Music Project, a joint effort with the Science Fiction Museum, located at the Seattle Center. This area of the museum, called the Sky Church, has a constantly changing light show on one wall that is set to music.

This sculpture is at the Seattle Center, the park at the north end of downtown that houses the Space Needle, among other things, which you can see through the sculpture. It was done by Alexander Liberman and is titled Olympic Iliad.
