Although it doesn't rain nearly as much in Seattle as the rumors claim, it has been raining a lot recently. So after days and days of rain, seeing the sun and clear blue sky is absolutely glorious.

When you live in a damp climate, you get a lot of moss. The moss this year is vibrantly green and I love the way it looks against the red roof.

6:30 on a fall morning is really dark. These globe lamps sit outside the front entrance of Renton High School in Renton, Washington. The school is almost 100 years old and has some beautiful architectural details.
