The Oregon coast has become the vacation destination for thousands of sea lions. They are actually big pests, but are quite fun to watch. One of the places they hang out is in the Newport harbor.

fish at the Undersea Gardens, in Newport, Oregon. I had to do quite a bit of work on this picture, as the water was so green that it was hard to see there was a fish at all.

the International Fountain at the Seattle Center is a popular place year-round. Despite the chilly temperatures, there were plenty of kids playing around the water, which is set to burst in time with the music that plays in the area.

this is the overhead art installation, called the Kreielsheimer Promenade, that runs between the McCaw Hall and the Exhibition Hall at the Seattle Center. At night, it changes colors and reflects in a flat water exhibit below.
